Your photos should be as unforgettable as the moments they capture.
You know that feeling that comes over you sometimes when you think about your kids: the heart-bursting swell of love combined with a desperate desire to live the moment forever?

Or maybe it's the feeling you get when standing in front of an amazing landscape or sunset. You want to relive that view over and over and share it with friends.

Try as you might, your photos don't reflect what your heart feels. The bad exposure or soft focus are in the way.

Your photos can be as unforgettable as the moments they capture.

Your photos can reflect what's in your heart so that the love you feel will be apparent in every photo you take. Imagine what a gift this will be to your kids and grandkids when they look at your photos 50 years from now.

Whether you're a mom experiencing for the first time how fast kids grow, a grandmother who knows all too well how precious her grandkids are, or anyone who wants to induldge in a rewarding hobby, this online photography workshop will teach you, step by step, how to take unforgettable photos.

Registration is now closed.
You'll be able to register in March, 2018.

The quotes that you see on this page are unsolicited. They come from students who emailed me without prompting to share how much this course means to them.

I know I've said this repeatedly throughout the class, but I just LOVE your 365 class.  Now having gotten really into photography and looked at other education, I can really appreciate what we are getting.  It's so in depth, yet you make it simple to understand.

Each module could EASILY cost over $300 on its own.  I can't believe what you offer people for $20 [now $25] a month.  I feel like it is a hidden gem in the photography world.  I feel sorry for people who are trying to start out and haven't found your class!

Especially people who really want to learn and can't afford to spend a million dollars on classes.  I tell everyone I know who is interested in photography!

I also really love the community of students you have created.  It's so fun to get know and watch other classmates on their photography journey.

My best friend is starting your next class.  I can't wait to watch her go through what I am.  It will be so fun!

"I used to go from tutorial to tutorial trying to teach myself and understand everything without even knowing exactly what I  needed to learn.... Now I'm taking it one step at a time with you and enjoying shooting again.... Thank you, thank you for putting it together and teaching other moms what you know.... This course should come with every dSLR." - Katherine V. (class of 2016)
An Online Photography Workshop to
Improve Your Photography
{The Right Way}.
One day at a time.

What would it be like to pick up your camera and take amazing photos without feeling anxious, confused or unsure about settings?

Imagine yourself becoming the photographer you know you can be. The photographer you want to be. Imagine yourself taking photos as beautiful as the moments and people they capture. Imagine the compliments you'll hear when you share those photos.

This 365 project is your roadmap to camera confidence.

You're nearly there.
"I always thought I had a pretty good understanding of how the exposure triangle worked; nope, I really didn't. Erin, you are an incredible teacher and I am forever grateful I signed up for this #guided365."
Jillian (class of 2016)
How it Works
Learn a micro photography lesson each day.
You'll receive access to a new lesson each day.
Each lesson will give you an easily accessible suggestion for what to shoot. These prompts are designed to make sure you understand the lesson.
Ask any questions you have, right there on the lesson page. I'll answer soon!
Share your photos on Instagram and see what everyone else did for the same lesson.
No Due Dates or Expiration
Work at your own pace. You'll have lifetime access to your lessons. As long as I maintain my website, you can find your lessons. You can also print them!
Each day, you'll receive a 10-minute lesson that teaches you a photography technique and gives you a photo prompt designed to put that technique into practice. Share on Instagram using hashtag #guided365 to be part of the community.
Busy moms and grandmas. Dads, uncles, friends, and people who don't have kids. Beginner to intermediate photographers who want to improve their technical & creative skills. Supplemental prompts for more advanced photographers during the first few weeks.
Other 365 projects tell you to take a picture of something blue. The Guided365 teaches you how to get the sharpest, best-exposed color-balanced photo of something blue. The photo prompts are designed to be flexible: no kids, perfect houses, or exotic vacations required!
The next session begins on January 1, 2018.
$24.99 per month for 12 months.

That's less than you'd pay for most of those 4-week online photography courses, and you'll learn more here! Don't limit yourself to learning only how to shoot on manual or only how to compose your photos. Learn it all in one year. Plus, ask all the questions you want!
" I took a 3 session class from a Washington Post photographer a few years ago that was so helpful but went from automatic straight to manual without these in between steps, so I didn’t learn some of the nuances that I’m learning from you. I have been shooting in manual since then but this is helping me learn so much more of what I’m doing, and I’m learning buttons on my camera that I didn’t know were there. Thanks!" - Jess C (class of 2016)
"I just wanted to let you know how much I am loving being a part of your Guided 365 class. The lessons you have put together are incredible. They truly are easily manageable and I have a lot of fun practicing each assignment! I am learning so much about photography and about my camera...I am excited for each day's lesson to come, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds! I have spent years watching YouTube videos, and reading articles and books and how-to's and I never got as much out of that as I have in the past 5 weeks with your class. So, I just wanted to say thank you for offering this opportunity for this wanna-be momtographer and helping me on the road to capturing treasured memories of my family!"
- Kristen D. (class of 2017)
" I’ve taken other online photography courses and have never gotten this much understanding. I’m shocked how easy you’ve made it and with such short instructions that don’t take an hour to read! So excited to keep learning. Again, just can’t believe how much I’ve learned already! Thank you!!." - Rebecca B (class of 2016)

So much has happened during the Guided365 this year for which I'm thankful. My abilities and confidence have grown exponentially. I've found ways to bring my creative ideas into reality and have them match what I see in my mind's eye. I've found friendships and connections to other photographers. And, I'm able to take something as simple as a pile of fallen, autumn leaves and create an image I'd want to display in my home (which is saying a lot, coming from someone with limited wall space and high self-standards.)
