  • loves to travel and wants to take photos as stunning as the places she visits
  • doesn't know what to do with all the buttons & menus on her camera (and might even be a little afraid of so much technology)
  • wants to spend time improving her photography skills now that she's retired
  • The gift that lasts all year

To the gift giver. You don't want all the marketing fluff - I've left most of the testimonials and motivational photography talk off this page. But if you'd like to read it all, click here. The quotes that you do see on this page are unsolicited. They come from students who emailed me without prompting to share how much this course means to them. Want to be sure you'll make her happy? Read the testimonials, or email me using the contact link above.

I know I've said this repeatedly throughout the class, but I just LOVE your 365 class.  Now having gotten really into photography and looked at other education, I can really appreciate what we are getting.  It's so in depth, yet you make it simple to understand.

Each module could EASILY cost over $300 on its own.  I can't believe what you offer people for $20 a month.  I feel like it is a hidden gem in the photography world.  I feel sorry for people who are trying to start out and haven't found your class!

Especially people who really want to learn and can't afford to spend a million dollars on classes.  I tell everyone I know who is interested in photography!

I also really love the community of students you have created.  It's so fun to get to know and watch other classmates on their photography journey.

My best friend is starting your next class.  I can't wait to watch her go through what I am.  It will be so fun!

How it Works
She (or he) will learn a micro photography lesson each day
A new lesson will be available each day (but it's ok if she gets behind!).
Each lesson suggests an easily accessible idea for what to shoot. These prompts are designed to illustrate the lesson. No need to leave home to take the photos!
I'll promptly answer any questions about course material.
She can share her photos on Instagram to see what everyone else did for the same lesson.
No Due Dates or Expiration
What if she doesn't finish in a year? No problem. She'll have lifetime access to the lessons, for as long as I maintain my website. She can also print them!
No kids, fancy homes, or luxury vacations required!

The Guided 365 is a great accompaniment to a new camera, or motivation for someone who would like to master the camera they already have. Here's what happens when you purchase as a gift:

  • you will receive a printable card to tell your loved one what they've received.
  • you'll give me the recipient's email address
  • you'll tell me when it's safe for me to start emailing the recipient so that I don't give away any surprises!
  • you can request a refund through January 31, 2021, in case she doesn't like it.
Best thing I have EVER done for my photography

"I have never taken any class ( and I have taken several at 2 local colleges in my area,  not to mention the online classes I have done also), watched any video or done anything that has progressed my photography skills like the guided 365 class did for me--it was a TOTAL game changer--once I understood  my camera, what each function does, and how and when to use them, it opened up so many new avenues  and also gave me confidence in the fact that I knew what I was doing for a change.  I wish I had taken this class when I first became interested in photography!! Also super cheap for the knowledge you gain...INVALUABLE!"
- Jodi F., class of 2017

My photos are much better

"I just wanted to thank you for this course! I am sitting here editing some photos I took of my beloved grandson over the past couple days, and it suddenly occurred to me that my editing has become easier simply because I am PAYING MORE ATTENTION  TO GETTING GOOD EXPOSURE IN CAMERA NOW and therefore my photos are much better exposed and easier to deal with right from the start! I have had my DSLR since 2015 and I also have some nice lenses, but up until now I have just muddled through piece-meal".
- Mary V., class of 2018

I'm amazed at how much I learned
"I can't begin enough to sing the praises of your course.  I'm amazed at how much I have learned...and how much I actually retained too!!!!   The class is a great mix of newbies, pro photographers and everyone in between.    Happy New Year and many thanks to you."
- Elle H., class of 2017
I appreciate the way the class is set up
"Although I am VERY behind, I appreciate the way the class is set up that I could/can work at my own pace, review old lessons and have access to everything even now that my 365 days are finished :-)  Like so many others have said, I have learned more from your classes than ALL the others I have attended in my lifetime.."
-Bonnie S., class of 2017
Each day, she'll receive a 10-minute lesson that teaches a photography technique and suggests a photo prompt designed to put that technique into practice.
Busy moms and grandmas. Dads, uncles, friends, and people who don't have kids. Beginner to intermediate photographers who want to improve their technical & creative skills. Supplemental prompts for more advanced photographers during the first few weeks.
Other 365 projects tell you to take a picture of something blue. The Guided365 teaches you how to get the sharpest, best-exposed color-balanced photo of something blue. The photo prompts are designed to be flexible: no kids, perfect houses, or exotic vacations required!
The next session begins on January 1, 2021.

" Erin - I am so excited! I normally shoot inside for this class because of my work schedule. Today, I went outside. My first picture was awful and way overexposed. For the first time, I knew exactly what I needed to adjust to get the picture. Thank you for this class! I am way behind but still plugging along. I am having so much fun and it is so exciting to finally be figuring out how to really use my camera!

Brittany  (class of 2019)

"I just wanted to let you know how much I am loving being a part of your Guided 365 class. The lessons you have put together are incredible. They truly are easily manageable and I have a lot of fun practicing each assignment! I am learning so much about photography and about my camera...I am excited for each day's lesson to come, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds! I have spent years watching YouTube videos, and reading articles and books and how-to's and I never got as much out of that as I have in the past 5 weeks with your class. So, I just wanted to say thank you for offering this opportunity for this wanna-be momtographer and helping me on the road to capturing treasured memories of my family!"
- Kristen D. (class of 2017)
" I’ve taken other online photography courses and have never gotten this much understanding. I’m shocked how easy you’ve made it and with such short instructions that don’t take an hour to read! So excited to keep learning. Again, just can’t believe how much I’ve learned already! Thank you!!." - Rebecca B (class of 2016)
